Choice Screening is an industry leading provider of comprehensive background screening. Choice Screening is excited to recruit a National Verification Researcher to join our valued sales team.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and comfortable in an independent setting, capable of adhering to compliance and quality standards, and possess excellent communication skills. Primary responsibilities include customer support as well as processing orders from receipt of request to submission of results.

*Note, this position typically works onsite in Englewood, CO. Due to COVID related recommendations in Colorado, this position is temporarily working remote.

Preferred Experience: 1-3 years or equivalent education and experience. 

Preferred Skills: Microsoft Office, Customer Service and Communication, Data Entry. Experience in background screening or personal interviews preferred.

Summary

Choice Screening National Researchers process a variety of professional verification requests. With the goal of verifying applicant’s work, education and professional history and references, the researcher will utilize phone call contacts, emails and faxes to receive applicant information from verified sources. Essential Responsibilities include:

  • Phone interviews of HR personnel, education institutions, and other miscellaneous contacts.
  • Some independent web-based research to find appropriate contact and business information.
  • Problem solving skills required to encourage prompt responses to our requests.
  • Monitor turn-around-times to verify timely responses as well as accuracy of information reported.
  • Serves as an account manager and customer service expert to help customer calls and questions. This position will require trouble shooting with customers, providing appropriate solutions, and interpreting results of background reports. Excellent communication and organization skills applied across various mediums are expected.

This position requires high attention to detail, accuracy and efficacy. Position handles extremely sensitive information and ethical disposition is required.

Preferred Experience: 2-5 years Sales & Account Management experience. Bachelor's Degree in related field. Experience in background screening preferred but not required.

Compensation: Base + residual commission with unlimited earning potential.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for creating, driving, and closing the entire sales cycle from start to finish. Specifically:
  • Drive growth and profitability, including the ability to meet and exceed quotas, profit goals, and other performance metrics.
  • Build the sales pipeline, generate momentum, and anticipate industry opportunities, successfully maximizing leads through cold calling, trade shows and inbound leads.
  • Lead the discovery process by asking comprehensive questions, overcome resistance, and communicating a persuasive business case.
  •  Leverage and optimize all internal systems, processes, and resources to ensure efficient and effective sales process
  • Serve as your client's primary contact throughout their partnership with Choice Screening and work to meet the client's evolving demands through our various services and technology.
  • Limited travel to trade shows is expected.

Desired Skills and Experience include:

  • Quota driven performer with 1-5 years Sales and Account Management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, English, or related field preferred
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to communicate over the phone and in person with throughout all levels of an organization, including C-Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident, Persistent, Assertive, Hungry and Competitive
  • Computer savvy; ability to navigate various applications including CRM; MS Office Suite proficient (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • High business ethics and integrity; ability to adhere to regulatory standards
